The Japanese gurus have worked their magic yet again by giving 2009 gsxr 1000 k9 a total redesign. Rumours are that the new 09 gsxr 1000 motor will churn out near to 192 brake horse power from its awesome power-plant (although we await the official suzuki figures). But one thing for sure the new gsxr1000 k9 motor produces a big increase in power over its predecessor due to its shorter stroke and high revving engine. With the added benefits of a shorter wheelbase afforded by the more compact engine. read more
