I got the R6 too and to this day I put 12K miles on it. Every time I ride it I am amazed of the power..the power does not get old or boring like with cars it amazes you every time.I rode the R1 and it was scary I shit my pants, and I rode a turbo GSXR1000 and I shit my pants with only 1/4 trottle lol.. maybe I am just a big wuss.

Get the 600, helmet, boots, leather jacket and good pants. Also the MSF Motorcycle Safety class (you get the motorcycle with it and learn about safety). Good luck and safe riding!PS: The 600's are monsters...very, very fast bikes.

Hey thanks man, that helped a lot. sadly, I'm 16 years of age, and the insurance wants me to pay $9,000 a year up-front in cash the FIRST day! So, seems like I'll be sticking to four wheels for a few years. Thanks, Tyler.

I'm 6ft and have a K7 GSXR 600, you'll be fine just move the levers and adjust the rearsets.
