Ugly, but faster than a brand-new Ducati 1198S. I don't think that R1 is ugly, is ugly for people that didn't understand that this bike is the better liter-class motorcycle of 2009, better than a Honda, Suzuki, Ducati (1198s!!!), or Kawasaki.Look for the MCN comparison and you'll know that this "civilian" MotoGP is everything more than ugly.

This Bike is soooo fucking ugly!!! I can't understand the designers from Yamaha. I love Yamaha but this is terrible.

I told you that I took the MSF course, but they don't help you at all. They are focusing on teaching then explaining all this crap to you. They teaches you how to get off neutral and then frist gear and then second gear and then sudden stop by pulling in the clutch, hit both breaks and down shift while you doing so.

Dude you need to see and talk to a local instructor. Askin these questions on the "YouTube" message boards will not get you what you need.

1. OK, how long can I stay on first gear when I am taking off? 2. When you are slowing for a turn, do you shift alway the way to first gear or stay on 2nd gear but pull in the clutch. I'm find with when to change gear on taking off but not too good on slowing down and down shifting.PPPPLLLLEEEEAAAAAASSSSSEEEEE HEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP.

You only need to red line your bike when you're trying to race or when you're trying to "feed" your bike, which means if ur just riding and you have a nice stretch of road w/no cars/cops. Duck down a & twist that baby & see what bitch can do!!!! ONLY when YOU are ready though!!! SAFE RIDING BRUH!!
