Guintoli is back at Cadwell Park

Worx Crescent Suzuki rider Sylvain Guintoli has announced he’ll be making a dramatic return to the MCE British Superbike Championship at Cadwell’s legendary ‘Party in the Park’ on August Bank Holiday weekend.
Guintoli hasn’t raced since sustaining a broken leg at Donington in May, but following a successful test yesterday (Tuesday) at Cadwell Park he’s declared himself fit and ready to return to the most competitive national bike series in the world.
Guintoli made an incredible debut in BSB at the start of the season, taking pole position at the opening round at Brands Hatch followed by a win and a second place in the two races. He continued that success with two podium finishes at the next round at Oulton Park before his season was cut cruelly short at Donington.
Now, though, he is ready to reignite his contest with championship leader Leon Camier and is confident he’ll be running at the front when he rejoins the grid at Cadwell Park.
Guintoli said: “It’s great to be back on the Worx Crescent Suzuki, I’ve missed it a lot. I’m looking forward to the racing at Cadwell Park now. I’m not coming back for fifth place and I’m certainly not making up the numbers. I will be as I always am - one hundred percent into it.”

This squirmy worm gets his come uppence in court despite his attempts of swaying the judge. Then proceeds to dump his bike in the car lot. What an a*~e. Let me know your thoughts?

World Superbikes 2009 Are Go!!!

It is a very exciting time, the oncoming world superbikes 2009 series will be roaring into action this weekend from the true racers circuit of Philip Island Australia. This year we see the debut of the ultra stunning BMW world superbike in the hands of native Aussie Troy Corser. After finishing second to Troy Bayliss in last years World Superbike Series, Corser is looking to put the new BMW right up on the podium this weekends races. For another fellow Aussie Karl Muggeridge things havent gone quite to plan so far in World Superbikes 2009. Karl is racing a Suzuki GSXR1000 for the Italian Celani Suzuki race team and due to machine availability Karl hasn’t ridden a bike since November of last year. But there is one thing for sure we can expect some fireworks from the action packed two races, with Nitro Nori on the awesome Ducati vacated by the retired Troy Bayliss, with challenges from the English crusaders of Shane Byrne, Tom Sykes, Leon Haslam and Johnny Rea. Its going to be hot don’t miss it!.
